Glorious sunsets, glistening temples, and warm smiles are just among the many things that make Thailand golden
Bangkok
Thailand is famous for its very delicious "aroi mak mak" food. This list are my favourite ones in the metro!
To taste Thailand's most iconic dish, it's best to have it at Thailand's long running Padthai eatery, Thipsamai. Menu is very simple with 5 different types of Padthai but the star of the eatery is called the Superb Padthai. They serve this charcoal flavoured in omellette-wrapped noodles with either regular or jumbo prawns.

This place serves insane XL Crab Fried Rice or Khao Pad Poo and wok-fried seafood dishes. Enjoy loads and loads of crab meat without the peeling! And oh, it's one of the Michelin Bib Gourmand awardees!

Soi Polo, another one the the Michelin Bib Gourmand awardees and i'm lucky its location is near my office (Wireless Road). From its name, people come here for one reason, the Fried Chicken or Gai Tod! An Isan (Northeast Thailand) origin, this chicken is flavored with black pepper and topped with crispy golden-brown garlic. Best eaten with sticky rice and som tum!
Soi Polo, Khwaeng Lumphini, Khet Pathum Wan, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10330, Thailand
Khao Soi is another Isan original Thai food and is a deeply fragrant coconut milk-based stew. It could be served with different meats but Khao Soi Gai (chicken) is my fave. You will hardly find great khao soi places in Sukhumvit and i'm glad there is finally one now!
455 Soi Sukhumvit 50, Khwaeng Phra Khanong, Khet Khlong Toei, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10260, Thailand
The main artery of Bangkok's Chinatown and the melting pot of Thailand's street food! If you want to truly taste and experience Thailand's food culture, this is the place to be. Best visited when the sun comes down!
Yaowarat Rd, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon, Thailand
No, pancakes aren't the only fluffy food around here. Nong Rim Klong's Crab Omelette is an absolute must have when you are here. It has generous chunky crab meat hidden under that thick and fluffy omelette, deeply fried to give a golden-brown look but still maintains its moist and sponginess!
