Rome, with its legendary ruins (such as the Roman Forum), renowned cathedrals (such as the Basilica of St. John Lateran), and modern restaurants serving the freshest, most exquisite food, is an astounding mix of past and present. The Colosseum, Pantheon, and St. Peter's Basilica are just a few of Rome's most well-known attractions. While these tourist attractions are unmissable, this lovely city has so much more to offer, including delectable gelato on nearly every street corner.

When in Rome do as the Roman's do, I took that phrase to heart and I did. I lived like a Roman for three weeks and it was one of the best experiences in my life. Rome is meant to be explored not only for its tourist spots but also going around old shopping districts, finding unique restaurants who have their own family italian recipe and lastly experiencing Rome's culture rich alleyways that tells you a story just by strolling through it. It is simply a city that you must visit during your life time.

When in Rome, they say do as the Romans do. For me that meant visiting the usual tourist spots, eating mounds and mounds of pizza prosciutto in all forms and marveling at the sites and pausing to nibble in every pizzeteria I could find. Ti amo, Roma!

Aside from the iconic Eiffel Tower, Paris has so much more to offer for tourists and I'm all for it. From visiting other famous such as the Notre-Dame and Arc de Triomphe, or just enjoying the beautiful scenery wherever you go, the city of love definitely lives up to its name. (Image from Wikipedia)

People usually think of Japan as one of the leaders in technology. From fancy toilets to vending machines with basically anything, Japan kinda has it all for you. As someone fascinated by Japanese culture, I also want to dive deep into Japanese heritage. Kyoto happens to be the site where many anime school field trips (and lots of drama) happen to explore Japanese culture. With sites like the Fushimi Inari Shrine and the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, Kyoto is the spot to learn more about Japan (Image from Digital Nomads)
