Food is a must try, happy hour everyday from 2pm to 7pm. Good for hang out! Try their sisig tacos and salmon tartare! Ambiance has a lively vibe and variety of cocktails too. My favorite hang-out place with my friends. I just started visiting this place recently, and I thought it was not good, that it was just all ambience. But I was wrong, when I tried their sisig tacos ans seafood paella negra. Do not miss to try their cocktails!

If you like oysters, this is the best place for you. Super affordable and yummy food. Their baked oysters are the bomb. Try their ramen too. This is my go to place on a chill Sunday night catch up with my friends. Baked oysters and their seafood laksa are the best sellers here. My friends would always love to order it whenever we visit this place. Super chill ambiance, not pretentious, no dress code, just all good vibes.

Seaside Dampa

Makati City, Philippines • Recommendation •

https://lemi.travel/jica/manila-mania/seaside-dampa Finally, after 8months, I and my girlfriends went to lunch for this sumptuous spread. Our go-to paluto restaurant, now called Soupah bowl seafood restaurant (formerly Sis), is our favorite. Fresh seafoods and great value for money. Dampa is a market basket type of place. You buy the seafood from the market and choose any resto inside the compound to cook it for you. This is a place where I always bring my foreigner friends visiting us here in Manila,it is always part of the tourist itinerary.

Makati City, Philippines • Recommendation •

Your Japanese craving quick fix that will not disappoint! Spicy Tuna Maki and Tempura Soft Shell Maki were really good. Try their gyoza, maki, and aburi mixers. Reasonably priced and fast service too. My kids and I were walking at BGC and thought of having a quick bite. It was my eldest daughter who told me that Ooma's good. We were seated outside of the restaurant and the waitstaff was fast in attending to us. I also like the ambiance and of course, the service. Now, it is one of my favorite Japanese restaurants! Price range: Php400-700 per head

When you want authentic Italian dishes at a very affordable price, visit this place. Originated from Baguio, now they have their Manila branch located in Kapitolyo, Pasig. Ideal for big groups, so bring your family here for Sunday or they are also open for big reservations. Also, you can make your own pizza. I like that the ambiance is so homey and welcoming. My favorite from the menu were Al Arrabiata pasta, Ala Romania pizza, and beef carpaccio. Do not forget to try their Nutella pizza for dessert.

For pinoy and ilonggo food, this is the best place to go and eat. The owner, Chef JP, is super hands on in crafting the menu. Authentic taste of ilonggo food with a twist. Sizzling kansi is soo good, kare kare, grilled liempo and a lot more. If you love Pinoy food, you should not miss this place! Try their kansi empanada and sisig palabok, filipino favorites with a twist.

A feast for 5 people! One of the best Cantonese restaurants in Manila. Call in advance if you want to order Peking Duck. My favorites are prawn salad, Peking duck served 2 ways (salt and pepper, duck wrap), and hot and sour soup! I am always on a hunt for good Chinese food, and I can say that this is one of my favorites. It was our early Christmas dinner and send-off party for our dear friend, as she is leaving for the US for 5 months (or more). All of the food was great. The VIP room was perfect and the fact that the place was almost empty (only big tables were occupied at that time), the service was fast.
