Love at first bite! Only in Singapore have I ever had the best Pineapple Tart that when friends/family sneak in a short trip, I ask for a box home. It’s one average snack most people wouldn’t draw attention to but is worth a try. I PROMISE! They’re everywhere the country but I get mine from Bengawan Solo outlets.

This quarantine had me dreaming of my favorite foods around Asia! I was a super fan of Shih-lin Taiwan Street Snacks and Tealicious back when I was living in Singapore. Same way that I was a fan of bakkwa, fishball noodle soup, roasted chicken rice, sambal fried rice and pineapple tart! Must. Go. Back! But since we’re talking Shih-lin, try their super famous XXL Crispy Chicken! And make that SPICY! (And pair with a tall glass of milk tea.) 😜

It’s been a while, Chewies! 😭 Comfort food in Singapore when I was home-sick. Cannot quite describe the puffs but they’re the chewy version of the cream puff only it’s yummier!
