Calling all cheese lovers! Do not—I repeat, DO NOT miss this one heck of a cheesy place! Start off with their grilled sandwiches then move slowly to the bigger menu thingies so you do not get too overwhelmed with cheese. 😂 The first time I Melt-ed (get it? LOL!), I had 2 friggin plates of that friggin sandwich! 🤦🏻♀️
The Soderno, Molito Lifestyle Center, Alabang, Muntinlupa, Metro Manila, Philippines
Sushi. Sashimi. Seafood boat. Yes, all that Japanese goodness! A little bit pricey but Omakase doesn’t disappoint.
Molito Complex, Madrigal Avenue, Ayala Alabang, Muntinlupa, Metro Manila, Philippines
Brain freeze with Jamba’s best sellers (and my favorites); Razzmatazz Smoothie and Caribbean Passion Smoothie. Indulge with its summery flavors and healthy picks of energy bowls, fresh juices and bistro sandwiches. Pro-tip: These are my go-to movie staples. 😉
Ayala Malls Solenad 3 Nuvali, Don Jose, Santa Rosa, Laguna, Philippines
My kind of Mexican! 🤤 Just a few minutes drive from where I live. It’s fast, it’s a food truck, it’s Mexicaaaaaan!
Aseana Ave, Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines
Another movie junk food! 😝

TUDING’S is why it’s ALWAYS better in the South! THE humble PorkSiLog that built an empire in Laguna. Crunchy, dried and brine-marinated porkchop, fried rice cooked in lard at malasado na itlog, paired with homemade suka with salt and chili powder, ice-cold Coke! Solb! Solid go-to/comfort food of Biñanenses.
200 A Mabini St. Corner Ricarte, San Antonio, San Pedro, 4023 Laguna, Philippines
Homey. Cozy. Comfort food. A legit “hidden gem” in the South (cos it’s literally tucked away in a corner in Biñan, Laguna. 😂) If you want a quiet place to dine and fill your bellies with quality food, Chef Niña’s got you.
Lot 32 Blk 8 | Silmer Village, Luzon 4024, Biñan, Laguna, Philippines
Famous for huuuuuge slices of cakes and its resident cute chef, Chef RV Cafe is a literal gem in the South cos it’s an effort to find it! Cost for a whole cake is comparably close to Conti’s but taste wise, Chef RV can def slightly improve. Would still recommend!
172 Mariano Manabat St, Biñan, Laguna, Philippines
Definitely has a signature taste alongside its rivals—Razon’s, Kuya J’s and the commercialized version of Chowking. Its ice is somewhat creamy and flavoured but lacks the “halo.” Not bad for a quick iced fix.
General Malvar Street, Biñan, Laguna, Philippines
My cheap Thai fix within 1km radius from home! Fresh or fried spring rolls at P200 (ultimate fave), Thai milk tea (über sweet for my liking) for less than P100, Tom Yum, classic Pad Thai, Bagoong Rice! Affordable and served quick. Just the way I like my Thai. 😋
Athletic Dr, Biñan, Laguna, Philippines
My go-to shack! Fast, cheap, quality chicken, sauces are quite “there.” For about P200-ish, eat-all-you-can rice + wings! For P700, you take away a 40-piece bucket perfect for Netflix and chill. 🤣 Go for my top 3 sauces: Garlic Parmesan Garlic Sriracha Dante’s Inferno

If you are looking for a quiet and homey nook away from the city noise, pop by Crosswinds in Tagaytay. Spend some alone time at Ruined Project or at the other 2 cafes along this stretch. Food was not particularly spectacular (also a bit pricey) but the cafe itself is satisfyingly relaxing enough to bum around.
Crosswinds Drive, Tagaytay, Cavite, Philippines
Because it’s @elaine recommended, I got to have it! 🤣 La Chinesca is a solid fresh taco place that also serves Horchata (with Orange zest!), and the best Chicharrón taco with generous condiments on the side. If you are not a pork/beef fan, Camaroncito is packed with all that cheese and seafood goodness. This is legit Mexican, man! 👌🏻 A little expensive though for a SMALL taco (P140-200 per) but it’s worth all the juice that drips from your mouth and fingers. 😂 An average person can finish 2-3 tops so about P700/head is fine. BTW, La Chinesca has partnered with Sensei (that’s why you see a Tuna Tartare right here) and moved to #181 Aguirre Street. It lacked a screaming signage so just in case you get lost along Aguirre, it’s beside The Farmery. 📸 @violator666
248 Aguirre Avenue, BF Homes, Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines
My all-time go-to ramen joint in BF Parañaque. Ramen Kuroda’s ramen bowls are only at P290-390 so you get your heaping broth with free extra noodles really cheap. Serves flavorful chashu, too! Fast service, okay food, strict with social distancing. 📸 @violator666
Phase II 1718, 96 Aguirre Ave, Parañaque, 1700 Metro Manila, Philippines
My Sushi Ninja top 3: Stuffed shitake (stuffing is spicy tuna) which you must order in 2 or more plates cos 1 isn’t enough. Agedashi Tofu, my forever favorite. Koenji Maki is just a slightly leveled up California Maki but surprisingly delicious because of the crunchy ebi. ** Not so much on SN’s Maguro Roasted Garlic Poke. I only missed Tuna Tartare is all. Gyuniku Sute-ki Don is bowl of tender steak slices over steaming rice. Can be a contender.
