one of, if not the BEST, meat grillin’ restos out there is tajimaya.
when grillin’ these meats, they use charcoal as their medium instead of ‘em burners and... get this - their vents are located at the bottom of the grill. hence, the smoke gets sucked in already and you won’t leave the resto smellin’ like you’re part of the menu - i’m living proof that this is sooo truuu!
their meats are prime and each will leave you wanting more, though the ambiance was quite... dim, you’ll not mind that so much the moment yah get grillin’ coz the meats and side dishes are enough to compensate for that. staff too were very warm and gracious
Three words: Unlimited Japanese grill. If that doesn’t convince you, perhaps the fact that Tajimaya uses only the highest quality meats for their yakiniku and their wagyu dishes might. Make a reservation ahead or be prepared to wait in a really long line!
