It’s pretty mainstream for foreigners, but if you don’t care about that, pack pool attire and get ready to mingle. Dinner menu is superb, though pricey. Social scene is very lively, complete with a bar within the pool.

Potato Head is the poster child of Bali’s beach clubs. Indonesian architect Andra Matin designed the iconic amphitheater-like structure. Its facade is made up of antique teakwood shutters gathered from all over the archipelago. Within, a gorgeous beachside infinity pool sets the mood for a laid-back tropical afternoon. Kick back at the lounge with one of the bar’s exotic cocktails, most of which are infused with local ingredients. They also have a menu of classic beverages for the purists. Arrive early (we’re talking around noon) and claim a coveted spot to marvel at the sunset!
