When food is so good you literally have to take a picture of every dish to remember it... I’ve been back to Il Profeta without fail every single time I’m in Florence. It’s become somewhat of a habit, an itch I must scratch. I love their lobster pasta but the food there is truly delicious. They’re known for their John Travolta pasta, which is delicious as well, even though I can’t for the life of me remember what’s in it. Now I have kids, I guess I have to wait for them to grow up a bit (and for Covid to make it safer to travel) before I can visit again. Thank goodness for Lemi and travel journaling!

My parents always mention this restaurant to me about it's popularity during 80's. They are still satisfied with the dishes especially the bbq chicken. The sauce is very rich and I like it now too! Also, we tried sisig and lumpia as well. The sisig catches my attention and it is the best sisig I've ever tasted! Very crunchy and tasty!
