We didn’t have much to our name yet as The Vowels They Orbit, but a big turning point was when we performed at the legendary bar 70s Bistro. We were the opening act one night, and after our performance a bar regular came up to us and said he loved our sound. He went on and said that every band that performed here had a bright future ahead of them. A year or so later, we would be launching our first single “Selos” (Jealous) at the very same bar.
70’s has so much history written within its walls that if the phrase, if these wall could talk was true— 70s Bistro would name a dozen of legends that has graced its stage. 70s Bistro’s the grandaddy of all gig places. It’s one of the places in QC that has hosted so many established and labeled artists, that they have gigs there even on weekdays.
