3 Michelin stars and highly recommended for Dim Sum by Chef Olivier Elzer @elzouille ! Must try.

They really customize each dim sum pretty well. It’s very outstanding. They do something a bit more than Lung King Heen. It’s in the Lisboa Hotel. Everybody does the bao, but they do it shaped like a hedgehog—and they do it half crispy, half moist. Hargao they make into a goldfish. Their whole entrance is goldfish. I really like the theme. There is a beautiful dim sum, it looks like a handbag, it’s pork floss with pastry. Abalone Puff Pastry. That is my favorite one!

The Eight is one of chef Robuchon’s go-to’s for Chinese cuisine. It inspired the gourmet artist to pay attention to the small details in food, particularly the combinations of different textured ingredients—a concept he later employed in his own kitchens. A testament to its authenticity, the first and only three Michelin-starred Chinese fine dining establishment is a frequent haunt of locals. Admire the opulent interiors, which draws inspiration from traditional elements such as goldfish and the number eight to signify energy and wealth, respectively. Take a seat, and enjoy a mix of Cantonese and Huaiyang dishes—including executive chef Joseph Tse’s signature suckling pig is a must! Book a table for lunch to drown in the restaurant’s plethora of creatively shaped dim sum.

The first, and only Chinese restaurant awarded three Michelin stars in Macau, The Eight serves a plethora of artfully created Dim Sum. Enjoy hedgehog-shaped steamed Char Siu Bao (叉烧包, Cantonese for “steamed barbecue pork-filled bun”) or Har Gow (蝦餃, Cantonese for “shrimp dumpling”) that resembles a gold fish for a playful yet delectable meal. Must-eat mains at The Eight include the Steamed Crab with Ginger and Chinese Wine, Stir-fried Australian Lobster with Egg, and chef Joseph Tse’s signature Suckling Pig. Delight in the pageant of flavors in the grand Alan Chan-designed space, that takes inspiration from the Chinese elements of gold and the number eight, representing wealth and luck respectively.

This restaurant has three floors, mind you. But despite that, it gets busy during the weekends, holidays and peak hours. Ask your favorite Fil-Chi person to recommend to you a classic Binondo Chinatown Restaurant, this will be mentioned for sure! They have an extensive menu, and I might be a little biased here, but you should try their hakaw. It's amazing! I secretly judge Chinese restaurants by how their hakaws are served, and Ying Ying passed the test with flying colors!

Known for Lanzhou-style noodles as a specialty among a wide range of Chinese dishes that are all bang for the buck! make sure to try their lamien noodles, which are hand-pulled. A bowl of noodles can already satisfy 2-3 people- perfect for your next barkada food crawl!

Hand-pulled noodles and a rich broth taste of the soup, I truly love the classic Chinese beef noodles in this restaurant.
