Lola Ising’s Buko Pie @lolaisingsbukopie Mano po Lola Ising ☺️ Another good food discovery mga ka-plato! Classic buko pie na nagmula sa angkan nila Colette. How’s my experience? I tried both hot and chilled conditions. Both tasted really good and both have the same flavor. The only difference is the texture. ✴️ Hot buko pie has a flaky crust while chilled buko pie has dense-textured crust. ✴️ The pie has generous amount of layered buko meat. It is so fresh! I was able to taste the intense natural buko flavor on my every bite. ✴️ The sweetness is just right! Not too sweet. And the cheese toppings highlights the buttery taste of the crust. ✴️ The packaging is a classic buko pie box and you can’t go wrong with that. ✴️ There is only a minor problem with the aesthetics. When I opened the box the pie was deformed. Maybe because of the long travel and issues during transit. ✴️ Each box costs 280php. For me it is a good deal ☺️ Overall, I will rate it 9️⃣ out of 🔟
