An area filled with Korean cosmetics, and other local retail shops. Best to go at night for the street food. The grilled haloumi cheese was my favorite. I would've eaten much more if I weren't already full. 😩 I'll definitely come back for this one!

Myeong-dong Shopping Street is Seoul’s beauty capital, attracting make-up enthusiasts from all over the world. When the sun goes down, however, the place transforms into foodie heaven! By 5:00 PM, kiosks start setting up to feed visitors with unique treats like cheese-covered lobsters, tornado potatoes (deep-fried spiral cut potatoes), and fried milk! Wash it all down with a refreshing cup of pomegranate juice before diving back in for more!
If you’re looking for a particular cosmetics or clothing shop in Seoul, chances are it’s here in Myeongdong. There’s too many of them to name, to be honest. A lot of must-try street food can also be found here, which is why it’s so popular with both locals and tourists. We went on a little food trip: Roasted Lobster with Cheese, Honey Garlic Butter Shrimp, Assorted Kimbap, Tornado Potato, and Honey Ice Cream Waffle! Yum, yum, yum!
