Home of the very first Wanderland, the Philippines’ premier summer music and arts festival. Apart from hosting the memorable first year of the production, this venue is particularly special to me because I also got to do the Meet & Greet with Neon Trees here! The year’s headliner was The Temper Trap—still one of the best performances this festival has ever seen IMO.

Satchmi Vinyl Day! Another 12+ hour day of listening to my favourites: Munimuni, QUEST, Lions & Acrobats, and Ben & Ben! That’s only half the lineup (everyone was amazing and so was the crowd). Free admission, might I add. Now I’m seriously eyeing a Motorino for next year (they offer great deals during the show).
Edinburgh City Chambers
A portion of the intense battle between Scarlet Witch and Proxima Midnight (played by Carrie Coon) was shot at City Chambers, the home of the City of Edinburgh Council. The eighteenth-century Georgian structure, designed by renowned Scottish architect John Adam, boasts of a lovely courtyard that revolves around the “Alexander Taming Bucephalus” statue. Its most prominent feature, however, is its beautiful groin-vaulted arcades, which frame a dramatic scene between the heroine and the villainess mid-fight. Edinburgh City Chambers is closed to the general public, but event spaces within the government building are open for events.
