My go-to hostel in La Union! It’s always fully booked, so always plan months in advance if you want to stay here. The place is immaculately clean, the beds and sheets are amazing, and even their common areas are well-maintained. 10/10!

Vessel Hostel is one of favorite places to stay in La Union. Me and some friends stayed here for the weekend on our girls trip to La Union. We wanted to feel like backpackers and vessel hostel definitely gives you that experience. We shared a room with one other hostel guest and made some friends. The hostel gives you enough privacy as a lone traveler but the opportunity to get to know other travelers in their save environment. Their hostel was kept exceptionally clean and safe. We loved starting our mornings with their military breakfast and beautiful views of the beach from the upstairs patio. The atmosphere of the hostel made you want to run away from city life and check in for a whole month just to learn how to surf.
We arrived in San Juan, La Union before 6am. Vessel Hostel allowed us to leave our bags so we could eat breakfast outside and go to the beach while wait for the check in time. We were 4 in this trip so when we booked 4 beds, we didn't think we'd take up a whole room! Best hostel I've stayed in so far. The rooftop is best paired with your free complimentary breakfast. You can actually peep the beach from there. 🏖️
Shipping containers turned into a comfy and budget-friendly hostel! For PHP980 per night, their dorms are all airconditioned with a great Wi-Fi connection, private bathroom, and a drying area.
