The mother of all book stores in the Philippines. Of course, Megamall has one of the busiest branches in Metro Manila. It’s not the best stocked branch, but it’s pretty decent. I’m “Laking National,” so this is an auto-recommend.

Another hangout spot for bibliophiles out there! Tucked away in the neighborhood of Sheung Wan, this two-storey bookshop offers local and Taiwanese literary selection and a bit of English pieces. Definitely a hangout spot to get away from, Mount Zero hosts book clubs and fairs, get a chance to meet your favorite authors, plus a discussion of your book picks! This bookshop also has a selection of handcrafted stationery and homewares. They are open from 11 am to 6 pm, Monday to Saturday. What makes it more engaging is their occasional free books selection at the entrance!

This bookshop is one that brings that nostalgic and dreamy feeling of a neighborhood bookstore/cafe that it is! You’ll surely love the cozy ambience and smell of piled up books in every corner. Loaded with lots of travel memoirs and history accounts—get comfy reading and sit anywhere on the floor while sipping some refreshments from their cafe. For those who wish for a time off, books and coffee are a perfect combination to get away from the hustle and bustle! Books & Co. is open daily from 11 am to 7 pm.

Looking for something antique and old-school? Then this bookstore is for you. Reading books make me timeless (as this bookstore suggests). Probably on top of my list to visit!
