Renowned chef Edward Bugia dishes up delicious platters of breakfast classics with a twist at Pi Breakfast and Pies. Don’t miss a taste of their Wagyu Beef Sirloin Tapa, the crowd favorite out of all their impressive offerings on the menu. The Wagyu beef is directly sourced from Bukidnon, heaped on top of their signature garlic kimchi rice, which adds a little spice to the traditional dish.
Sometimes, simplicity is best. Rice dishes are part and parcel of every Filipino meal, but Pi Breakfast and Pies finds a way to mix it up. Here, they serve caramelized Spam over either plain or kimchi fried rice with sesame seeds, egg, pesto, and spring onions on top. Give this place a try for when you’re looking for something familiar with a little side of adventure.
Something I rarely tell people about is the Smack Pie (pictured), a local iteration of the popular Momofuku Milk Bar Crack Pie by Christina Tossi, the reason being I don’t want to be the culprit for someone else’s addiction.
