Nagoya Castle is a Japanese Castle located in Nagoya, Japan. We truly enjoyed our visit there last year and we are hoping to visit Nagoya again this year (2021).

I’ve always loved historical places, this is why the Nagoya Castle is first on the list.
The Nagoya Castle, built in 1615, served as the residence of the Owari lineage. It is the most senior of the three noble houses of the Tokugawa clan, a powerful daimyō (Japanese feudal lords) family who ruled the nation until the early Meiji period. Most of the castle’s surrounding structures, including its main keep, were destroyed by the U.S. air raids during the second World War. The castle is yet to be restored to its former glory; but, come in the spring to see the area transform into a popular hanami (cherry blossom viewing) spot!

Visiting the museums there is really good because you will see things that you did not expect to exist and you will be able to learn about it. The area is also accessible for food and drinks if you need to buy. I would highly recommend you guys to visit Intramuros with your family, friends or special someone.
