Best push cart dim sum in Hong Kong! Possibly the only one left in fact! Always love this place. Great for taking guests too!!

My absolute favourite place. Only downside is that you can’t make reservations in advance. But this is possibly the last remaining push cart Dim Sum locations in Hong Kong, although certainly the largest. There’s something to be said about the nostalgia, and the excitement of instant gratification - I see, I eat, I conquer.

During weekdays, go EARLY to Maxim’s Palace at City Hall, one of the city’s last remaining true push cart dim sum experiences.

Maxim’s Palace is the ultimate destination for upscale Dim Sum dining. Underneath an ornate ceiling and crystal chandeliers, small plates of these Chinese delights are still served in pushcarts, almost like a mobile buffet—a foregotten practice due to the cramped spaces that characterize urban Hong Kong eateries. The dumplings at Maxim’s bring old Hong Kong to present day without losing authenticity, presentation, and flavor. They never skimp on quality, each dish a delight to the tastebuds. Favorites include steamed dishes like Shrimp Dumpling, Glutinous Rice with Assorted Meat Wrapped in Lotus Leaf, and Chinese Sponge Cake!

The first time I did my Binondo Chinatown food crawl around 10 years ago, I've always thought that fried chicken was a very weird concept in the Chinese cuisine (yes, yes I was, and probably still am, a bit undereducated about these things). But when I tasted Sincerity Cafe and Restaurant's Fried Chicken, I was at a lost for word. I mean, okay, I'll be honest. Jollibee is my top 1 but this is within the top 5 of fried chicken tiers. They have the classic fried chicken, honey, and curry flavored ones. I recommend this if you're area. If not, they are in Foodpanda! No excuses now, huh?

One of the best places in Binondo to dine with your families. Their fried chicken is also a must-try! ❤️ Just like any restaurant in the area, there's a swamp of people during lunch time but no need to worry! They have 2 branches just around Binondo - one in Yuchengco and another in Lucky Chinatown Mall. You can thank me later! 😉
