The 7,107 islands of the Pearl of the Orient Seas boast of cultures, language, sounds, and sights that are as lively as its people
Suriago City
Absolutely one of my fave spots in Siargao. The Magpupungko Tidal Pools only show up during low tide so you need to plan your trip well and ask the locals. It's always best to come here early as the water tends to become brown when there's a lot of people in the water. Careful about bringing your things and make sure you have strong slippers as the rocks are sharp

Placed a generic name for this spot as this one is not on the map. This place is known as SECRET BEACH to locals and is located in Malinao, General Luna. Been coming back to this place as it's super relaxing with the view and the trees. Perfect for picnic or just lounging around. Not a lot of people come here as it's not that known. But sharing this with you all! By the way, the sunset here is amazing.
Siargao Island, Philippines
This place maybe overated but if it's your first time in Siargao, you gotta visit this place. Surf schools are laden here and you definitely will get that islander vibe. Also, there's a resto nearby that has a nice beachfront view. They even have mats and tables along the seashore! Definitely perfect for an afternoon of chill.

Once you pass by the Maasin Bridge, you won't miss this spot. There's a concrete ladder for you to decend from to get here. You'll see that iconic bent coconut tree which a lot of tourists have taken a photo with. You can swing from the tree and then right into the river. Quite an experience if you ask me. Locals are there to guide you in climbing up. No fixed fee but tips for the locals are encouraged. Also around this are are small souvenir shops where you can buy bamboo straws, siargao shirts, and bags.
Siargao Circumferential Rd, Dapa, Surigao del Norte, Philippines
Close encounters with the jellyfish? This is it! When you plan to go to Sohoton Cove, definitely include this. Really enjoyed the peacefulness of the lagoon and the playtime with the jellyfish. As their habitat shouldn't be disturbed, the only way to the lagoon is through a small paddled boat. Incredible experience!
