Memory by Herl Calabio

Trivia: Do you know why it's called Bakwitan Cave? It's because this cave served as one of the shelters of the locals whenever there were huge typhoons or pirate attacks during the Spanish times. Bakwitan Cave was part of our day tour at North Gigantes. The be able to reach the cave, we climbed for about 30 minutes. It was tiring though. Inside, there were rock formations and stalactites/stalagmites but they said that they were decades ago and some of them were already dead.
