I clearly remember being at a bazaar in Centris. I was looking for a knitted sweater because as a cozy person, I enjoy wearing cozy outfits. Sadly, I didn't get the sweater because it cost at least a thousand pesos, and I didn’t want to spend that much money on a sweater at the time. When I got home, I thought to myself "what if I just made my own knitted sweater?" So I went to Youtube and watched tutorials, bought my materials, and started learning how to knit and crochet. Beanies, face scrubbies, and earrings were my first projects. Then a colleague recommended I try selling my items, so I did! I first posted them on Facebook Marketplace and had my first customer. She recommended me to a friend, and that friend recommended me to her friends. It has always been a dream of mine to make crocheted items popular with everyone and that it’s not just for lolas. Thus, the name Hiraya Collections. Hiraya means “the fruit of one’s hopes, dreams, and aspirations.”

Our crafts aren’t just to make a sale, but it’s made out of passion. We also consider our customer's preferences and opinions. We make sure that our products are made out of affordable yet quality materials so we can sell them at an affordable price for everyone to enjoy crocheted items.
