The Grand Palace - พระบรมมหาราชวัง (Phra Borom Maha Ratcha Wang) ~ The Grand Palace is a complex of buildings at the heart of Bangkok. The palace is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Thailand. ~ The Grand Palace is bordered by Sanam Luang and Na Phra Lan Road to the north, Maharaj Road to the west, Sanam Chai Road to the east and Thai Wang Road to the south. ~ The Grand Palace is made up of numerous buildings, halls, pavilions set around open lawns, gardens and courtyards. ~ The Grand Palace is currently partially open to the public as a museum, but it remains a working palace, with several royal offices still situated inside. • FYI: A strict dress code applies. The Grand Palace, with the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, is Thailand's most sacred site. Visitors must be properly dressed before being allowed entry to the temple. I do missed my change to visit this temple before, cause I didn’t check the time first.. so before you come here, make sure you check the time open and closed otherwise not waste your time. It’s freaking amazing temple, No doubt this is a must and the best sightseeing place in the whole of Bangkok. Every building is different. The level of detail on each and the gold used is stunning. As I know, I do visit a couple temple there, we must go inside barefoot.. Hopes to visit this temple next year. ❤️

Who would I be if I never visited the Grand Palace in Bangkok? Built in 1782, this place is filled with stories and cultural histories. I would love to learn more about the whispers behind the walls. This palace also houses Temple of the Emerald Buddha which is also on my all-time go to bucket list!
The entire complex used to be the official residence of the Thai royal family. It was only up until the early 19th century that the Kings decided to move out—making the Dusit Palace their private dwelling place till 1950. Today, the Amphorn Sathan Residence Hall serves as the current home of the reigning monarch. However, the Grand Palace continues to hold royal ceremonies and other official events of the state. It is also worth taking note that the most sacred Buddhist temple in Thailand, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha or the Wat Phra Si Rattana Satsadaram, could be found within the palace grounds!

Whenever I do out of the country trips, I always make sure to visit a piece of history to get to know the country more. The Grand Palace is a must-see when visiting Bangkok, Thailand. Imagine visiting the official residence of their king from hundreds of years ago! Now it's open to the public, here's our chance to walk like a royal. 👑
Undoubtedly, the number one place I would want to visit in Bangkok would be the Grand Palace. This landmark is absolutely rich with history and has been standing beautifully since 1782! With it's gorgeous architecture and profound intricacies, I feel that I could easily spend an eternity within the majesty of this spiritual heart of the Thai Kingdom.
A must-see! Enjoy the majestic and spectacular view of The Grand Palace. Built in the late 1700s, this has been the home of Thai royalties. This is also the home of the famous emerald Buddha. Strict dress code is implemented here! They are open from 8:30am up to 3:30pm only.
