The 70 hectares Southern branch of National Palace Museum is located in Taibao, Chiayi County Taipei, Taiwan, it has a permanent collection of nearly 700,000 pieces of ancient Chinese imperial artifacts and artworks, making it one of the largest of its type in the world. Opening Hours: (Monday) CLOSE (Thursday) 8:30 am to 6:30 pm (Friday - Saturday) 8:30 am to 9:00 pm (Sunday) 8:30 am to 6:30 pm Admission: NT$350, under 17 years old free. Tips: If you are on a budget travel and still want take photos in addition to your Taiwan memories, you may still visit and do your photos ops, it's allowed within the vicinity of the Museum.
