Mountain Climbing
Situated in Tanay, Rizal, Mount Daraitan is 739 meters above sea level. If it's going to be your first time to climb it, make sure the weather is favorable. We were expecting a sunny day, I had no issues climbing up to the summit. But when we were about to climb down, it rained twice while we were in the middle of the mountain. Rocks are sharp and it was really muddy, some of the climbers were really hurt sliding down to sharp rocks. It took me hours before I reached the foot of the mountain. Sweaty, muddy and a bit emotional because I thought I will spend my whole night there. We were all joking around after the adventure as our tour guide informed us that it's just a level 3 to 4, not much assault - if it didn't rain. It was a climb done to end my 2019 with a "bang!" and start my 2020 with fun. Tiring yet full of memorable experience.
