Founded by the same guys who opened Soneva Fushi in the Maldives in 1995, which pioneered the luxurious hotels that the country is known for today. Their latest resort features 24 neo-Victorian villas, some with wrap-around slides plunging into an impeccably clear lagoon. These also have retractable moon-rood openings so you can sleep under the stars. Soneva is also famous for their sustainability efforts, seen in its own recycling center, organic gardens, and an open-air cinema with wireless headphones (so as to not disturb the turtles nearby).
