Island of San Giorgio Maggiore, Venice, Italy
5 years ago
Chiesa di San Giorgio Maggiore is a 16th-century Benedictine church conceptualized by Venetian architect Andrea Palladio. Spot it from Riva degli Schiavoni, the promenade across the lagoon, and gaze at the brilliant white marble edifice as it reflects on the sparkling cerulean waters. A trip to the monastery spoils you with two of Italian painter Jacopo Tintoretto’s most celebrated works: “The Last Supper” and “The Fall of the Manna.”

Manila Cathedral is one of the attractions in Intramuros. You can relax and enjoy the view here. Inside the cathedral, it can make you feel go back in time because of the structure that still remains from the old times.

I was lucky enough to get married before the pandemic. I got married in St. Ann Parish, Molo. This church was the only Church Jose rizal visited and more than 200 years old! Yet here it is so grand and with the longest aisle in Panay ✨ The joke is, half way of the walk down the aisle? You can still exit the side door because you still have enough time to think it over hahaha. Here are some photos of that happy day!
