As a band, we were big fans of the other bands that performed at Route 196, so it was quite surreal going from watching from the booths to performing up on the stage. Route 196's smaller stage made sounds much more detailed and an echo chamber of good tunes, so it was a very intimate experience to perform here.
If we’re talking about more established gig-going places around QC area, Route 196 has definitely housed some rising bands and artists since 2006. For me, Route 196 has never had a gig that never had a solid line up. It might be a relatively smaller venue, but every time I do go there, the place always seems to be jam packed with so much people, which proves just how much production houses and gig-goers love Route.
One of my wishlist gig spots, update you guys how it goes. I hear this is where you go to hear the next big thing!

12 Monkeys Music Hall and Pub
Back in 2018, way before we were signed to Sony, we were the front act for huge names like Moonstar88, Typecast, Stellar, and so many more insane bands, so it was humbling to perform on the same stage as them at 12 Monkeys since no one’s heard of us at this point. Later that night, we had a brief encounter with the vocalist of Stellar in the restroom and he was like “S--t, man you guys are f--king good!” and they gave us a shout out during their set!
