How we started
KHUTTZ DINER (pronounced as “katz”) is the name of its owner’s dream restaurant way back in her college days. Cath or Kats is how its owner Catherine being called by most of her friends and acquaintances. Her passion to put up a restaurant took root in the year 1997 when she was still in college taking up Hotel and Restaurant Management course. Mulling over, what is catchy and unique name for a menu project, she stumbled upon the name “Khuttz” which is now being carried as the official name of her store(s) 23 years in the making. When Facebook became prominent, Cath made an album entitled “Khuttz Collection of Food and Love” where she has been showcasing her children’s favorite food made out of love for them and some of which have been included in Khuttz Diner’s menu. The essence of Khuttz Collection of Food and Love is to bring everyone, just like her children, with different palettes and food taste preferences, into one table by offering different foods with a palette of flavors from sweet, salty, spicy and many more.
