Iron Tea
HK$80
Our Iron Buddha (Tieguanyin) tea is harvested in the Spring time and comes from a small family owned plantation in Anxi, Fujian, China. This is our favourite tea of all time - refreshing fresh floral with a hint of orchid, and a long, smooth aftertaste. It is an Oolong tea, first cultivated in 1725 in Anxi county (near Xiamen and Quanzhou) in southern Fujian. At the turn of the 20th century it was brought to Taiwan, and so there are two main categories of Tieguanyin; the Anxi version and the Muzha (Taiwanese). The highest quality tea is found in the mountainous area of Inner Anxi due the altitude, climate and water. Xiping of Inner Anxi is said to be the birthplace of Tieguanyin. Each package contains 50g of tea. How to enjoy: Infuse approx. 6g of tea in water heated to 95°C for 5 to 7 minutes. The low caffeine content makes it suitable as an evening tea. ** This product cannot be shipped to our customers in Australia.
