Enjoy the bounties of the sea (beach body not required!) at Sham Shui Po’s Yuen Kee. Fresh seafood is transformed into delicious dishes like Typhoon Shelter Crab (避風塘炒蟹), a dish wherein the shellfish is buried under loads of garlic, scallions, red chili, and black beans. Yuen Kee balances a selection of classics (like Razor Clams in Black Bean Sauce, 香蒜蒸竹蛏) with more unique recipes such as their Rose and Ginger Lobster (薑葱龍蝦)! Their menu isn’t in English, but feel free to refer to the pictures on the wall. Rest easy, this eatery is a mark cleaner than other places you’ll encounter and their seafood is always fresh!

They have a few plates I like. To be honest, I don’t remember that much. I know they have one with the millennium eggs on top of something. The pigeon is quite nice. They have these crispy noodles that they put eggs on top of. They have a few hot and spicy dishes, which are quite good too. I like it because the guy is a bit crazy, putting on weird music. The place is quite huge. The ambiance is quite good, we always have a fun time there.
Man Sing Cafe
Taste true Hong Kong home cooking in Man Sing Cafe! Start with their Signature Pork Mince Patty, bathed in a pool of special sauce and topped with an egg. The meat is so tender it’s almost optional to chew. A dish with a curious name, Saliva Chicken, is not as dubious as it sounds. It’s chicken meat poached in chili sauce and packs quite a kick!
