Markplatz is the go-to place for locals to find good meat, local produce, fresh flowers, as well as regional specialties. Most of the stores are closed on Sundays, so plan your trip accordingly to make the most out of your visit here.

2. El Nido Zipline El Nido, located on the northernmost tip of Palawan, is best known for its powdery sand beaches. If you want to do something more than sunbathe in its glorious beaches, you can ride the 750-meter long zipline located in Maremegmeg Beach, also known as Las Cabañas Beach. You will need to do a 10-minute uphill hike to reach the starting point but the payoff will be worth it. The zipline provides a breathtaking view of the ocean until you reach the nearby Depeldet Island. You will appreciate the view of golden sands reaching out into crytalline turquoise waters, making this one of the most scenic ziplines in the country.
