This roast goose is so nice. The funny joke is that everyone wants the drumstick, but you only get two drumsticks when you buy a goose. They handle the demand for drumstick really well. The secret is if you order a half goose, they always give you an extra drumstick. If you know the lady well, you can order the extra drumstick. That’s why I buy a half goose, then I get the extra drumstick on top. I like it on rice, my girlfriend Canny likes it with noodles and the broth. I like it with the rice because you have this sauce, marinated with the goose flavors. When you put the goose with the sweet sauce, all together I really like the combination. I think they’re doing very well. I love the lady at the cashier. I park across the restaurant all the time, and I talk to her sometimes. She’s grumpy, but I get her. If I were in her position, I’d be the same! Dealing with people every day, they all want to push you, “give me a table, give me a table”... But she’s very funny.

It is deliciously roasted, its skin perfectly crisp—great on its own or as topping with chicken noodle! Famed for their no-nonsense interiors and service as much as their Roasted Goose, Yat Lok was already a household name even before Michelin came along and remains so to this day.
