Hop Yik Tai Snacks has earned a lot of love for their quick-fix dishes. There’s a lot to choose from; but I shoot straight to their Steamed Rice Noodles (腸粉, cheung fun) and Soy Milk. The soft and chewy texture matched by the bland rice, yet savory sauce, are an addicting combo. I like to ask for all the sauces, except the spicy ones—a you’re free to do the same.

Peytato Salted Egg Chips
I haven’t always been the biggest fan of salted egg, but @peytato.ph changed my mind! I took @almacala1976’s advice and tried the Truffle and Spicy flavors, which I both like, though I’d go for Truffle any day. Both the salted egg and flavors weren’t overwhelming, and I loved the thinly sliced potato chips! Such a great snack! A huge bonus? The owners were so easy to talk to and transact with!
