Lolet’s Eco Park

Roxas City, Philippines • Recommendation •

I used to attend camps at Dao, Capiz as a boy scout and after a tiring week of extreme activities, we always make sure to pass by this amazing park to relax. What I like about this place is its calming ambience, its fresh air, and a wide pool that even a non-swimmer like me can't miss. It's definitely something you should check out when you're in Dao, Capiz.

Rbm Virgin Beach Resort

Roxas City, Philippines • Recommendation •

What I loved about this destination is not just its lovely beach but also the travel experience. It's a little far from my home city and although the trip can take a long time (not to mention bumpy), I find it a good time to appreciate other places that we pass by and have time for some roadtrip conversations. And finally, after some hours of driving, you can finally get yourself a hut to relax and watch the beach as you pop a soda and have some barbecue. P.S. Try to go here early though. It can become crowded very fast sometimes.

Ang Panublion Museum

Roxas City, Philippines • Recommendation •

If you're someone who is curious about how things were before everything modernized so fast, I'm sure this small museum in Roxas City would be something you should check out while you're in Capiz. Inside, you can see paintings, artifacts, photographs, and other things that reflects the rich history of Roxas City and Capiz in general. It is also a good place for students just trying to do some history research. In fact, the first time I visited this is for a history project we are making.

Panay Christmas Village

Roxas City, Philippines • Recommendation •

Located at Panay, this Christmas Village is definitely one of the places you should visit when you're spending the holidays season at Capiz. As soon as the sun comes down, this seemingly plain park besides the Panay Church turns into a bright and magical land. If you're looking for Instagrammable photos for your Christmas posts, look no further.
