Most people don’t know why the French Quarter is named that way. The truth is the French Quarter was bought from France in the Louisiana Purchase in 1803 for a whole quarter.
Located on the banks of the Mississippi River, the French Quarter is in the heart of New Orleans. With Bourbon Street, Café Du Monde, Jackson Square, and everything else, you can not go wrong walking around here.
scattered all-over you'll find small-whole buildings dedicated to thrift shops! but be warned that there might be some sketchy people near. its fun looking for hidden gems and some ukay buildings section their products from children wear to vintage furniture by floor.
Times Square will forever be an iconic location in New York, and when I was younger, I’ve always dreamed of having the opportunity to go there someday - and when I finally did, I was absolutely speechless and amazed.
My inner theater kid was more than satisfied seeing the names of those plays on Broadway, and even having the opportunity to watch Chicago.
No matter how long ago it was, Time Square will always have a special place in my heart.
