Located on the banks of the Mississippi River, the French Quarter is in the heart of New Orleans. With Bourbon Street, Café Du Monde, Jackson Square, and everything else, you can not go wrong walking around here.
Most people don’t know why the French Quarter is named that way. The truth is the French Quarter was bought from France in the Louisiana Purchase in 1803 for a whole quarter.
2. El Nido Zipline
El Nido, located on the northernmost tip of Palawan, is best known for its powdery sand beaches.
If you want to do something more than sunbathe in its glorious beaches, you can ride the 750-meter long zipline located in Maremegmeg Beach, also known as Las Cabañas Beach.
You will need to do a 10-minute uphill hike to reach the starting point but the payoff will be worth it. The zipline provides a breathtaking view of the ocean until you reach the nearby Depeldet Island.
You will appreciate the view of golden sands reaching out into crytalline turquoise waters, making this one of the most scenic ziplines in the country.
I was once at a dark phase in my life, and the things that helped me get out of that bubble were yoga and meditation. Not everyone going through depression talks freely about it, much less know what’s truly going on in their minds. I started conceptualizing Salt & Sky eco-resort in 2016, hoping to provide a sanctuary and a “home away from home” where people can escape and just be their authentic selves. The entire system is eco-friendly, and we also support the employment of locals around the area.
