Marikina City was given the title “Shoe Capital of the Philippines” because of its notable shoe industry. It was and still is the biggest manufacturer of shoes in the Philippines, producing almost 70% of shoes manufactured in the country. It is only fitting that it has a museum full of shoes, and houses the rich shoe history of the city. The Shoe Museum houses the largest pair of shoes in a museum in the country. The sought out section of the Shoe Museum is the former Philippine First Lady Imelda Marcos’ shoe collection. dropped by this place for quick lunch. I would say that this is one of the nicer food parks I've been to. The other food park being Le Village Lifestyle Park in E. Rodriguez, Quezon City. But this one feels more up scale, when it comes to the selection of food and ambiance. Ate at Dong Juan restaurant, got the porkchop, which was good. I'd rate this food park a 5 for the ambiance, compared to the other food parks I've been to. Food a 4.5, that's for Dong Juan, since I haven't tried the other restaurants yet. Over all a 4, I'm holding at 4, since I've yet to try everything. Will I be back? I'm definitely coming back for dinner for a meal as well as grab a few brewskies with my mates. Looks like a great place to chill.
