This parked van in Hirafu elevates the English favorite fish and chips using Hokkaido’s outstanding produce. Born out of British owner Matt Stormont’s hankering for food from his birthland, Flying Fish offers the day’s catch delivered daily from the seaside town of Yoichi. Watch as each fillet is battered in English Bass Pale Ale and rice flour. The thick chips are made from Kutchan’s superb potatoes, golden outside and velvety soft inside. In true English fashion, your order is handed in a nifty newspaper package.

Pretty decent cod (chunky whites) and chips. Had better ones for sure but I highly reco the battered king prawns and chips w a side of sweet chilli!
