A great way to experience nature and learn the importance of conservation. Before doing the discovery trail, prep your arm and leg muscles since they will hurt big time the next day. The rope trails are scary at first, but once you take them on its a piece of cake. Enjoy bonding with friends or family in this georeserve. A tree will be planted on your behalf for you visit.
Masungi Georeserve is one of my favorite places to go whenever I want to go for an adventure. I've been here like 3x already but it always felt like the first. By the way, Masungi Georeserve has two destinations: Discovery Trail and Legacy. Both of them are for adventure seekers and nature trippers. Masungi Georeserve is conservation area and a rustic rock garden. Here, you can find the Discovery Trail which consists of terrain and trails that are all instagram-worthy. I've visited this place and I love how they developed the area for us to see and appreciate nature. On the other hand, the Legacy Trail is an immersion where you can participate in tree planting activity. The cost of visit here is cheaper than in Discovery. The duration of both of the activities can last from 3 to 4 hours.
A quick, adventurous getaway for those in love with nature 🍃 Masungi Georeserve was once a deforested area in the 1990s due to illegal logging and other detrimental activities. In 2000, owners of the land decided to restore the land to its natural beauty. It now stands today with a purpose to conserve, rehabilitate and promote geotourism to the public. The Georeserve is located in Tanay, Rizal - only 1.5 hours away from the city. At a very reasonable cost, you and a group of friends or family members can enjoy a breathtaking and relaxing view of nature while getting a semi-work out from the uphills and downhills of each mountain and trail they are currently rehabilitating (but don’t worry! Refreshments are also included in the fee!). Different trails during different times of the day are made available to the public for different types of experiences, so pick away! 🌿 The extra good thing about Masungi is that all proceeds go to the conservation and rehabilitation of the land as well as to the promotion of jobs for the locals in Rizal. A tree is also planted for every visit you book with them! 💚🌳 And of course, let’s not forget the very instagrammable photos you can get from this trip! 📸 ⚠️ WARNING: Probably not a good idea if you’re afraid of heights! ⚠️

Singapore is a very beautiful city, but sometimes the locals need a break from the hustle and bustle of city-life. Where do they go? Singapore has a lot of pretty and well-maintained parks but the Southern Ridges is worth a special mention! Escape from the city with this 10km of green space, a pocket in-between skyscrapers and high-density housing. Get lost in the elevated bridges and look beneath the greeneries as you stroll.
