Dining outside these days is something I really appreciate. But dining in a garden, with eye soothing greens around you,a pond with koi, while enjoying good wine with good friends under the stars? Oh my! My heart is full. Here’s my top 5 things I love about Dusit Thani Manila, Dine Al Fresco The Pantry (Weekends only) 1.) The ambiance. Can be perfect for intimate dinner with your partner or just a lovely evening time with the family. 2.) The Wine Pantry! It’s a First in the country! They sell wines at retail prices. They have different wines from 9 countries and 29 regions. Whatta selection! Imagine, you get to choose your wine, enjoy it in a five star hotel without digging in that deep in your pockets! *and buy a bottle or two to enjoy at home* Lalo na if you’re a wine lover, you need to check this out! 3.) The buffet stations were outdoor too! Ganda! 4.) The food! It’s their GEaux Friday Louisiana BBQ Dinner Buffet. Mostly grilled! Love the grilled Talikitok, Jambalaya, and the meats with their specialty sauces.. so good! 5.) Amazing customer service. *Even Executive Chef , F&B Director and the General Manager, Stanley Lo was there to chitchat with us and shared lotsa. A friday night I’ll never forget. Cheers! @panda.eatss #pandaeatssph

Marriott Cafe

Do you feel that our restaurant scene is slowly coming to life again? For me, it sure does! Finally, Manila Marriott Cafe’s Lunch and Dinner Buffet opens its doors again. Can I just say.. i love how they leveled-up the buffet experience (that made me feel safer). You just need your phone, scan the qr, order from your phone and the food gets delivered to your table right away. The customer service was superb too! Anyways, this Modern all-day restaurant has salads. Look how cool their salad station is! Western, American, Japanese, Chinese cuisine.. Whatta selection right? they also have sweet pastries, gelato and local delicacies for desserts. The dishes that really stood out for me were their salads (sarap!!), house sausages, Pasta, Pompano, blue crabs (their seafoods, DIVINE!) and their Kakanin are really up-scaled. Must try! Overall, This place is perfect for casual and gastronomic weekends with your loved ones. And what’s more amazing? It’s 50% off every Mondays Lunch and Dinner! Highly recommended. ——— Follow @Panda.Eatss for more food adventures and shenanigans. Maraming Salamat 🐼 Stay safe! Stay strong! #pandaeatssph #pandaeatsph

Okada Manila

Makati City, Philippines • Recommendation •

Hello Hello!

Last June 12th, we visited Okada to try their latest - Barbecue at the Cove.
They did this cos mass gatherings are not allowed lately; they converted the Cove in to a lavish BBQ Buffet every weekends.

It’s my first time in Okada and can I just say , this place is soooo grand? Ahhh.. Ang Ganda and spacious!

The place is huge so they setup 2 buffet stations at both sides.

Buffet is focused on grilled meats (Roast Beef, Kebabs,)but they also have ,salads, sliders, grilled salmon, grilled oysters and tahong, grilled butter prawns, carbs, and desserts.

Lechon and Sisig stations were a sure hit. Their lechon is so crispy, meat is tender and well seasoned. It was still crispy after hours! The sisig naman is more on the creamier side. It was tasty, soft and chewy the way i like it! Sarap!

Pro tip: To maximize this 5 hour buffet (open from 5-10pm, Fridays-Sunday), every time you finish a plate, just walk around the cove (it’s 9000sqm in size) let the food get digested then eat a meal again. +632 8555 5799 RestaurantReservation@okadamanila.com
