Mahabang Buhangin Beach, Calaguas Island
Buhangin Beach is really like Boracay, it is 3 km long but none of the huge crowds and noisy establishments. I love how it’s still rustic despite there are already a lot of resorts lining the shore. The sand was super fine too and the water is clear and turquoise-colored – still quite pristine. I also loved the part where before the break of dawn we trekked up the hills of Tinaga Island to watch the sunrise; it was one for the books, most definitely. The mobile signal on the island is very scarce as well so it’s a nice time to take a break from social media and just enjoy the beauty of nature around you.
Adding this picture of my best friend in the beautiful Art sector Gallery & Chimney Cafe 360 in Rizal. The gallery showcases different art forms from sculptures to mixed media, paintings, collages, different styles, and themes created by various local artists. This unique rooftop with a chimney-like style will definitely make your stay worthwhile. What makes it more special is the unobstructed view of Laguna de Bay, city lights, hills, and is a perfect sunset spot.
