A hidden gem tucked away in the heart of Taft. This hole in the wall ran by a young duo, sells Birria tacos like hot cakes. They carefully buy, prep, cook and serve their creations on the daily. They aim to serve authentic flavors while capturing the palate of the locals. Definitely more bang for your buck than most Mexican restaurants out there. Get em while itās hot! When we hear tacos and burrito, we immediately crave for Mexican food! Many Filipinos are crazy over mexican cuisine, because why the hell not? Whether it's a Tex-Mex or Fil-Mex, any dish or food establishment laced with the word "Mexican" is a guaranteed hit. El Poco Cantina catered the green community in taft but they welcome everyone because their goal is to make their little space a safe space for everyone. El Poco Cantina is the next authentic Mexican food I have tried in the metro. Pre-Covid, they have this cute space in Taft near DLSU-CSB & St. Scholatisca ā the community they created is very unique, where people dine and talk to the owners, yes, the owners are the one operating the business too! Now, they are only accepting deliveries. You can find them in Food Panda. Before I forget, my personal faves are Burrito, Quesa, Nachos and their newest product, Birria!
