Another go-to for superb macarons, Ladurée Paris is said to have invented the light pastry with a creamy ganache center. You’ll find multiple outlets all over Paris (and the world), but their flagship Champs Elysées (shahn-zey-lee-zey) branch deserves a stop. Housed in a Napoleon-style hotel, the cafe boasts a stylish setting that highlights the French art of living.
Avocados are in season, so take a chance on Lia’s Cakes in Season’s signature avocado series, specifically their Avocado Sans Rival. The avocado flavor goes well with the creamy, frothy nature of a sans rival and makes the best parts of the cake even better.
Though Wildflour is widely popular for their Carrot Cake and Banana Cake, I personally recommend a slice of their Honey Cake during afternoon tea or after a meal! 🍰
