On my 16th birthday, I told my parents that all I wanted to do is watch the sun set. We hopped onto the car and my dad drove us as fast as he could to the best place he knew where to watch nature take its course in the city. We arrived at the Bayleaf Hotel in Intramuros and quickly ran up to the sky deck, just in time to catch the momentous farewell from the sun.
