This zoo is massive! 7.5 hectares of land, home to 3000+ wildlife. I highly recommend getting a tour guide so you can learn more about their conservation efforts, the multitude of varying animal species, and enjoy their animal encounters.

Really enjoyed Taronga Zoo, both because I could easily see all the ‘must see’ Australian animals and because of the lovely location. The giraffes have a magnificent view. Go by boat across the harbour.
