One of the best Taquerias in the Philippines!
First tried it in 2016, then added it to my list of go-to’s whenever my friends and I would do our annual food trip! So thankful that they also opened up a stall in The Grid in Powerplant Mall. My go-to’s are the Carnitas, Camaroncito, Wagyu Tacos, and the Tuna Tostada! Tell me what’s yours!!! 😁
Because it’s @elaine recommended, I got to have it! 🤣
La Chinesca is a solid fresh taco place that also serves Horchata (with Orange zest!), and the best Chicharrón taco with generous condiments on the side.
If you are not a pork/beef fan, Camaroncito is packed with all that cheese and seafood goodness. This is legit Mexican, man! 👌🏻
A little expensive though for a SMALL taco (P140-200 per) but it’s worth all the juice that drips from your mouth and fingers. 😂 An average person can finish 2-3 tops so about P700/head is fine.
BTW, La Chinesca has partnered with Sensei (that’s why you see a Tuna Tartare right here) and moved to #181 Aguirre Street. It lacked a screaming signage so just in case you get lost along Aguirre, it’s beside The Farmery.
Another famous hang out place talked about by my friends. It’s amazing how after reading so many articles about food that I realize that there’s a lot of restaurants that I haven’t tried. This is definitely one of those.
