Kyoto Donburi Main

A small Japanese style donburi(a bowl of rice with something on top) restaurant. It is located nearby a uni which means- good food. Ordered an Ebi-don (Shirimp rice bowl) and a bottle of Kirin beer for dinner. The fried shrimps are soft, sweet and rich in flavor. The service was nice, a perfect place to eat alone!

If you needed proof of an inter-dimensional gate, well, Brookhaven National Lab has it: The Solenoidal Tracker at RHIC (Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider) (STAR). It can "collide beams of polarized protons, unraveling the secrets of dark matter, quark-gluon plasma, and replicating the primordial cosmos existing in the first billionths of a second after the birth of our universe." Before it was functional, it raised a few concerns including the creation of an earth-threatening black hole, the possible transition into a new dimension, and the alteration of ordinary matter into a new form. Due to data that proved these scenarios wouldn't be possible, the project was greenlighted.
Massachusetts State House
Perched up on Beacon Hill, across the street from the Boston Common, the Massachusetts State House has been the seat of government to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts since 1798. Ascend the stairs, follow the red brick trail, and a pillared building topped by a golden dome rises to greet you. Continue inside, to where the Office of the Governor and the General Court (comprised of the Senate and House of Representatives) have been running the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for centuries. Important statues, historic frescoes, and stained glass fill the marbled halls—every detail tells the city’s story. To this day, the Office of the Governor, the Massachusetts Senate, and House of Representatives still hold office in the State House. Call ahead to reserve a tour (free of charge) as they welcome tourists on weekdays, any time between 10:00AM and 3:30PM.
Lancaster House
Since Buckingham Palace is reserved only for the real Sovereign, The Crown’s Queen Elizabeth II (played by Claire Foy) finds home in Lancaster House instead, a stately home built in 1825 for the then-Duke of York and Albany, son of George III. The opulent interiors highlight wrought iron staircases, scarlet carpets, and elegant lamps—reflecting the grandeur of the royal residence perfectly. Gifted to the nation in 1913, Lancaster House is run by The Foreign & Commonwealth Office who holds events in its lavish rooms. Although closed to the public, it’s possible to book tours through the government website. Try to visit during the annual Open House London on September to get into the abode for free!
