How we started
We started back in July 2020. It was the peak of the pandemic and because we partnered with a local company to bring food packs to provincial areas impacted by Covid-19, we got to meet Ube Halaya makers and stores in San Pablo, Laguna. We initially bought a hundred from them and sold it at a retail price to Metro Manila residents, just to test if there's a market for it. Luckily, a lot of people are not aware that there's Ube Halaya products in San Pablo so it was a huge hit and it hasn't stopped since!
How we are different
Ube Halaya cooked and farmed in San Pablo, Laguna doesn't use artificial sugar, artificial coloring, and artificial flavoring. There's no additive to it, just pure Ube root crops and organic milk!
Who we are
UbeLuv is really an idea of John Mark, who was then working as a Trainer for one of the biggest freight companies in the world. Being a business-minded individual, he shared how this small business can somehow turn into something big with his fiance, Mia, who's a team manager for an outsourcing company in Taguig.
