I think a large chunk of La Union’s charm comes from its sunsets. At least for me, what always gets me to endure a five hour road trip from Manila to San Fernando or Urbiztondo is knowing that I’m going to get a clear and wide view of the sky’s colors unfolding right in front of my very eyes. Tip: my favorite place to stay in La Union is in Aureo because it never fails to showcase a beautiful landscape of the sun rising and setting. It’s also where I took this photo!
