In the middle of autumn, it seems improbable for a shop to still have plants blooming in fiery hues, but Biotop manages to do so. The brick interior with wooden furniture is home to curated plants you can purchase, brands that are a little too pricey, and a cafe with top-tier coffee beans. The food and beverages in their cafe are priced fairly, considering the presentation and view.

Biotop is a massive lifestyle shop that rises tall and wide on Orange Street. A plant nursery spills from the brick shophouse on the street, so step through and have a look at the goodies inside. From minimalist with an edge to a little more flow, Fumika Uchida and nowos, respectively, are two brands to keep an eye out for. Take your time through each floor where there’s more fashion, cosmetics, and general merchandise to see. End your spree on the roof deck garden with a cup of coffee, mulling over your haul with the girls.
